Rain was in the forecast for Matt and Lisa’s Memorial Day weekend wedding, so as insurance Lisa picked up some rain boots and umbrellas. The adorable boots perfectly matched her wedding colors and nautical theme. It was *almost* a shame they didn’t need to be used as it was a gorgeous, warm and sunny day! We started the day at Lisa’s parent’s home where her sister Laura also got ready for her wedding day, which was a bit different since everything was covered in snow! We absolutely adore this family and love that we get to be a part of another special and beautiful day of memories and love. Lisa was so relaxed all morning but there were certainly tears held back as reality hit after she finished getting ready and realized this was finally HER day. Her wedding day! The wedding mass at St. Peter’s Church was absolutely beautiful, especially the music! Lisa's family is quite musically talented and her siblings all took part in some way or another to make the ceremony that much more meaningful and special. We could listen to them sing all day! After the ceremony and some pictures across the street, we made our way to Riverview Catering Hall for the reception! It was a fun party and we love how they carried the nautical theme into the dancing fun with some cute props. Lisa also surprised Matt (a huge Star Wars fan) with the light saber wielding bridal party running onto the dance floor to the Star Wars theme song! There was quite the ‘battle’ between Matt and his groomsmen but he won and freed his lovely bride. ;) The night ended with a quick sparkler send off and we waved goodbye as they rode off. Such a lovely day for this happy couple. Wishing them a lifetime of love!
